Texts disappears and reappears

JoAnn

I am working with a somewhat large document for my
thesis. When I scroll up through the screens, there will
be some text missing, if I scroll back down that text
appears, but the text that should be below it disappears.
It is almost like two sets of text are occupying the same
space.

On a suggestion of it being a memory problem, I removed
all the tables, graphs, table of contents and header
formatting. The file is only 74k and it is still having
the problem.

Any suggestions?????

Sounds like an issue with your graphics card. In which view are you
working? Does this happen in Normal-view, too? Is there any problem with
the text in PrintPreview mode, or on printed paper?

I believe this is one of the problems addressed (fixed) by the latest Word
2003 patch. If you have an earlier version, then try updating the graphics
driver.
