Time Sheet Task Outline Level

Quick question:

Is it possible to have 4 outline levels in your GANNT chart, but assign and
report on resource time on the 2nd or 3rd outline level (not entering a task
update)?

Generally speaking, you do not want to assign resources at any summary level
which is what would happen if you attempted what you stated below.

Jonathan is right about avoiding summary assignments, but yes it is
possible, but you should create a task at that level to track against. There
are issues related to summary task assignments, so a regular task would be
preferred. You will need to keep it synchronized with the duration of the
summary task manually.
