timesheet entry: current view displays all tasks

Current view in timesheet entry does not appear to be working.

Timesheet entry has 2 views for dispalying tasks: current and all. I
believe the current view should show all task that:
- not complete and
- were either scheudled to start or have started or will start within
the number of days specified by the administrator (I have set this to 1 day)

But what happens, is that the developer can see all of his tasks...the
current filter does not appear to be working. What am I doing wrong?

No...I do not have an administrative project set up...I should note that if I
use the custom filter on the 'current' view, the future tasks are excluded...

well...it's half working...if I go to the timesheet entry page and then click
on another tab...say documents...then go back to timesheet entry and click on
current view, then it works properly...current tasks only...but if I go to
the timesheet entry page right away and then click on current tasks, it
displays all of them (even if I click current tasks a few times)
