Timing changes after packing for cd

Custom animation timings are changing after I pack to cd. This happens when saving to a folder as well as burning to a cd.

Not an uncommon complaint. See
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorials/PowerPoint/synchronizing.htm for a bit
about what is happening, especially when running from a CD, but even when
running on your own system from the hard drive.
