To keep margins of diff text docs when inserting to mail merg doc

I am setting up a mail merge document that consists of six text documents
with varying margins. I have changed the margins using Page Setup but they
are not actually changing on one particular document.

Also, am I able to name and save data files into specific folders so a
number of people are able to access them.
