Too many cells selecting

When I select a cell and release the mouse, cells keep
selecting---hundreds. I don't think the problem is the
mouse of keyboard. To close, I have to right-click on
taskbar because the mouse doesn't function on toolbar
after it starts selecting. Problem is the same when I
open spreadsheet again. Thanks!

Check to see if EXT is in the right hand of the status bar, if so press the
F8 key
