Toolbars do not stick

Lillian

We are running Office 2003 on Windows xp pro. Several of our users complain
that the toolbars do not stick. I should point out that we also have 4
third party apps that plug into Word. We also do not run the normal.dot,
but have our own customized file that we open Word with instead. We ran
these apps under Office 2000, and this was not an issue. I remember reading
somewhere during our rollout about toolbars not sticking, but I cannot seem
to find the information again. Thanks

Toolbar positions and "sticking" is the responsibility of the third party
add-in programmers. Nothing Microsoft can do about it - the third party
programmers must code properly to adhere to the toolbar positions selected
by the user.
