Tools menu, Options box is miissing

The options box is missing on my tools menu in word (ok in excel & access).
I have repaired and reinstalled and its still lost. Any ideas?

Hi Chris,

Is this in a corporate environment? If so the administrator
may have taken out that choice. If not, try starting
Word in Office Safe mode (hold down control key when starting
Word) then open a new document to see if the option is there.

Also see if you're only looking at partial menus by turning
off the 'short delay' choice in Tools=>Customize=>Options

Thanks Bob

It's Office Professional Edition 2003 running on a single machine. Safe mode
didn't cure the problem, and full menu's were enabled.

Any more ideas please.
