Tracking changes through multiple drafts

I have a user who wants to be able to us one file to track his change
through multiple drafts of a document. So the same person wants to b
able to use different colors for changes made a different times. I nee
to know if this is possible

Just change the name of the "author" in Office Button > Word
Properties > Popular > Personalize. (Changing the initials doesn't
change the color; changing the author but not the initials does change
the color.)

Assuming, of course, that the colors for tracking are assigned "By author"
(the default setting in Word).
