Transfer files from one presentation to another.

I'm sure this is remedial stuff, but I'm trying to figure out how to do this.
I want to use some of the slides with info in one presentation, so I need to
transfer it to my new presentation. How do I do this? Thanks.

In PPT 2002/2003:

From the presentation into which you want to insert the "old" slides:

Insert > Slides from files
Browse to the appropriate old file then select the slides you want to insert.

Or - in slide sorter mode in the old pres click CTRL then select all the
slides you want to copy.
Select Edit > Copy.
Toggle to the new pres and in slide sorter mode place the cursor where you
want to paste the slides
Select Edit > Paste.

What Sandy said. In addition, when using Insert > Slides from files, put a
checkmark on the "Keep source formatting" checkbox if you do not want to lose
your formatting for the old presentation when it is being placed in the new
presentation.

If you are copying and pasting it into the new presentation, a clipboard
icon will appear after you paste in the old presentation. Click on it and
select "Keep source formatting".
