Transferring Info from Word to Excel

I am wondering if there is a way to automatically transfer
data from a word form that someone fills out. After the
person fills out the form, they email that form to me and
let an automation program automatically take that data and
copy that data into a excel database?

You could do this programming a macro in either Word or
Excel, yes.
