TransferText to a:\ drive

I know I'm just not formatting something right, but I can't get my table to
export. I get an error "Cannot update. Database or object is read-only."
Neither of which are read only. What have I done wrong? Here are my
settings:

Transfer Type: Export Delimited
Table Name: tblEntry
File Name: a:\tblOut
Has Field Names: No
(no settings for Spec Name, HTML Table or Code Page)

Figured it out ... just had to add .txt to the end of the path.
