Transition into a new slide?

Hi --

I need help transitioning to a new slide.

The first slide in my presentation contains many graphics that come and go.

It starts as a completely blank page, then a logo and some text fade in.

On the next mouse click, these graphics fade out and the graphic elements
that comprise the master page background for the rest of the show are
brought into place. The effect looks really nice.

The problem I have is that, after everything has moved into place, I need to
click the mouse a second time to move to the next slide.

I want to be able to move to the next slide as soon as all the custom
animations complete on the first slide.

How can I do that?

TIA,
CL

Hi --

I figured it out. I broke the thing into two slides. The first transitions
with a mouse click; the second transitions after 1 second.

Thanks,
CL

To quote Bill Foley, a fellow MVP, he said just a few hours ago to Andrew:

"Set the Slide Transition to 'Automatically after' '1' second. You can do
this by clicking the Transition icon on the Slide Sorter toolbar."

The animations will run, then as soon as they are done, the slide will
advance.
