transition slides

Hello

I'm trying to make a humble powerpoint presentation with short titles and 3
to 5 phot's on each slide.
I succeed in timing the animation of the photo's.
But the slide disappears very quickly (too quickly) and the show moves on to
the next slide. The transition of the slide is set on 6 seconds, but this
doesn't seem to be the solution.
Can anyone help me?

Try adding up the timing of your animations that are on the slide--say 5
photos at 3 seconds each for a total of 15 seconds. Then add the 6 seconds
you want to hold the slide on the screen. Set your slide transition time to
21 seconds. It seems as if the slide transition time starts as soon as the
slide appears and doesn't take into account the time of the animations on
the slide, so when the last animation is done its cue to go has already
happened.
