trouble accessing old messages

Hello-I have an existing OE 5.0 account (at least I hope it still
exists). I just perfomed a complete system reboot, and now need to
re-activate my account using my same address. How do I do that? I have
forgotten how since I purchased my computer 5 years ago. Also, where
would my inbox messages be (the ones I had before reboot)?
