Trouble installing Office 2000 on XP professional SP2

Nick

e Hi!,
Recently I had to recut my machine with Windows XP Professional with Service
2 after it cracshed on me. Now when I try to install Office 2000 it is giving
me an error message that "Office needs files from the Windows XP Professional
service
pack 2".
I already have Windows XP with Service Pack2 and the latest updates.
Does anybody have any idea about this error.
Thanks in advance.
