Trouble installing Office XP over Office Pro 2000

It kept asking for Office 2000 CD - I hit cancel and the
install progressed and seemed o.k. until I tried to use
Outlook where it asked for Office 200O CD again - I was
unable to config my email settings, although I knew all
of the settings were correct...

Anybody else have trouble with this?
