Trouble Opening files

Hi All

I've got a bit of a strange problem, I can quite happily open a file up in
PowerPoint 2002. The problem is when I open up a second file, I get an
error!! It doesn't matter which way round I do it, I.e. if I open file1,
its ok, then when I open file2 (file1 isn't necessarily open aswell) I get
the error. It isn't a problem with the file because if I restart my PC and
try it the other way round, file2 opens fine then I have the error with
file1!!

So far I have tried to repair and re-install office but it has had no
affect!!

Any suggestions you may would be appreciated!!
