Trouble with Word displaing JPEGS and GIFS

It worked before but suddenly, proably me, Now all that is displayed is a
blank box. Graphic is still there, copy paste in to another app.and there the
graphic is. Anyone ?

Thank you, it fixed my problem, I had the Placeholder box checked. Again
