I have been using my MS Publisher 2000 for over 3 years.
Just recently I attempted to access the Publisher program
and got the following message: "This application must be
installed to run. Please run setup fom the location where
you originally installed the application." I have done
everything I know to fix this including uninstalling and
reinstalling the program. I don't understand what
happened overnight nor do I understand the
instruction "run from the location you originally
installed the program". I can not access the numerous
publicaions that I have created with this program. Can
anybody help?
Thanks.
Confused in Tulsa.

Dan firstly, what version of Windows are you using?

Have you logged on as another user or changed the user settings?

If you have, you need to install Publisher for each user/or new user.

We don't hold it against you for living in Tulsa, we just make serious
allowances for you.
You are lucky we are a kind bunch generally.

I don't know if the following article applies
to this issue but it may be worth a look:

(236592) Error messages starting Office
2000 program, or program immediately quits
on Windows XP, Windows NT 4.0, or Windows 2000

I don't understand your reply..??..

What it means is that the article referred to at that site may help
you solve your problem. Make sure the ENTIRE url gets on your address
line; if it wrapped on your reader, just clicking on the hyperlinked
part of the url won't get you there - it's all or nothing! HTH

Blessed be, for sure...
