Troubleshooting Deleting

T

Terry

Just started using Outlook. Refuses to delete one old (4years) message in outbox. Outlook was never really used before, but minimally about 4 years ago. I have tried to move it, but what else can I do.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Place Outlook in Offline mode (File-> Work Offline), restart Outlook and try
to delete it again.

I tried that and it doesn't work either. Also, I have optonline and outlook just decides to reconnect when it feels like it.

Alright, so since you never used Outlook before it's probably fine by you to
start completely blank mail profile? What version of Outlook are you using?
To create a new mail profile go to Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show
Profiles... and delete the profile.
