HOW CAN I USE PUBLISHER 2000 FEATURES WITH PUBLISHER 2003?
HOW CAN I USE WORDART LIKE I COULD WITH PUB. 2000? I DO PREFER PUBLISHER
2000, BUT I DO NOT HAVE IT TO INSTALL, CAN I DOWNLOAD SOME FEATURES? I USE
PUB. OFTEN, AND WORDART (AND CLIPART!!!) ARE MORE DIFFICULT TO USE. WHEN I
USE CLIPART, MY COMPUTER STALLS.????
I WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL FOR ANY HELP, I AM AT THE END OF MY TETHER!

Your ignorance and rudeness is helpful to no-one. How on earth are people to
learn without sarcastic comments like this? We are not all PC aware, computer
wise or politically webwise. So SHUT UP if you cannot help.

Sarah's comment in this case was perfectly reasonable - no one likes reading
posts in all caps (at least no one I've ever met). If we don't tell people
how we'd like them to behave, they're never going to behave that way. If we
do, at least they have the choice as to whether to act how we want them to
or not. If people are not "PC aware, computer wise or politically webwise",
then they can't be expected to know not to post in all caps. As such, it is
our responsibility to let them know that it's not a good idea - as has been
proven in this newsgroup many times, solving people's problems isn't always
about answering their questions.

Also, the message to which you are replying was posted a LONG time ago. So
long ago that it no longer appears in my thread list. May I kindly suggest
that you restrict yourself to replying to slightly newer threads in future?

Sir, I am truly sorry if I have offended you, as I obviously have, that was
not my intention. I merely became really upset at the tone of the reply..I am
really grateful for the work that you all do, and of course you must advise
the less experienced of us, but surely you must agree that people are pretty
desperate and confused even, and your colleague's replies makes others not
want to post a query if they are to be abused or made to look foolish. Please
look at your colleagues replies....you may understand the tone of my post. I
do apologise to you, but I still stand by what I said. She can be cutting and
totally unhelpful. I am having probs. myself, and I clicked on help:
Publisher wordart, and happened to land on that particular page. I wasn't
looking for trouble!! I didn't realise it was an old posting. Mary Sauer is
always helpful and so are you, and others on your team. No others seem soooo
rude. Kind Regards Pauline Edwards.
