Truncated Resource Names in Time Line

My Gantt Chart looks good now with one exception. The resource names are
spelled out at the end of the bars in the timeline and are being truncated.
I have tried the following:

1 - smaller font - only improves slightly
2 - making width of the weeks in the timeline narrower but the adjustment
only works on the screen, not in print
3 - using a column for the resource names but it still spells them out one
after the other on the same line instead of one underneath the other in the
column, so the net result here is no difference

What else can I try?

Hi Cloudburst99 ,

You could try using initials instead, or you could position the names above
or below the bar. Let us know if you want help on these.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://www.mvps.org/project/

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

I'd like to know how to position th enames above or below the bar. I can see
that would be beneficial to the way we do things here.

Thanks.

Format/Bar Styles.../Text tab/select Top and enter Resource Names, then
delete from Right.

Thanks. I managed to do this; however, not ALL resource names came out on
the top of the bar. There are a few that are still appearing to the right of
the bar. Why would that be?

Is there a way to make this change once (i.e. resource names on top rather
than to the right) for ALL the bars instead of having to do each one
individually?

Did you select Format/Bar Styles rather than Format/Bar? If you did you
need to repeat for each style, like Task, CriticalTask, Progres, etc. Once
done it will percolate through the whole project.
