Try to print envelope, no address shows once through printer

I am trying to print an address on an envelope. I have selected envelpe in
the printing options but once the blank envelope goes through the printer, it
sounds like something is being printed. I remove the envelope to find no
address has printed.

Feed a full sized sheet of paper through the printer and see where the
address is printed in relation to where the envelope was positioned.
