Trying to connect......!

For a while I had the Outlook 2003 HTTP/RPC setup working smoothly for my
users, but now I'm behaviour that I can't determine the cause. When a user
attempts to log into exchange via the HTTP/RPC connector in Outlook, they
are first asked to provide username and password with the usual popup box.
Everything seems ok, and "Trying to connect..." stage shows. Soon after, it
Disconnects. Then tries again. Then disconnects. Then tries again. This
has been repeatable from different locations, with different laptops at
different times. So, I believe this is a setting problem, but I cant seem
to find the source. Has anyone else had a similar occurance? Can an expert
help me out here?
