turn on email notification

ALL the users in my network are getting appointments
posted to their calendar without the email notification we
used to get in OL 2002. People are not finding out they
have an appointment until that morning of, which can be a
major problem. I have checked every option in OL,
including the Auto-Acceptance Options, and cannot get the
system to send an email with an appointment like it use to
do in OL 2002. I worked great in OL 2002, then after an
in-place upgrade, it just stopped working.

Is there anyway to turn on the email notification like it
was in OL 2002?

Sounds like the users may all have Author permission over each other's
calendars. Fix that and they'll get meeting requests instead.
