Two kinds of lag?

I have a task which can be done, at earliest, six weeks before a milestone,
and at latest two weeks before the milestone. Using ASAP, I expect it to be
scheduled six weeks before; but it's not late unless it slips past two weeks
before. It has no relationship to any other task besides the milestone.

How do I represent this?

You could use a deadline date but it would need to be hard coded unless
you used VBA to make the deadline date always be two weeks before the
milestone date. The deadline would put a red indicator in the Indicators
column if the finish date slipped past.

With links there is not a good way to do this.
