two screens with a laptop

Hello,
Using a laptop for a presentation, how do I show two
different slides -- one on the projector and one on the
laptop screen. I need to show the presentation slide on
the screen, and would like to show a preview of the next
slide on the screen. Is this possible?

Your laptop needs to support multiple monitors. You might want to read more

If your laptop does not have dual monitor capabilities, you can add a PCMCIA
graphics card from VillageTronic - http://www.villagetronic.com/. Their
VTBook card fits in the laptop's expansion slot.
