Two Week Project schedule by hour

I have a two week project that I need to have the start and finish dates
showing as well as by hour. I saw a posting to schedule by hours by that
changed the start and finish dates and not the start and finish times. This
is probably confusing, but if anyone can help I would really appreciate it!

Hi Barbara,

To display time as well as date information in the table (left side) of a
Gantt chart, go to Tools > Options and on the View tab, select a Date Format
which shows time.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

When I do this, it changes the format for the whole chart, is there a way to
change it just for specific columns?

No, sorry. The date format is a global setting. All dates in Project are
actually date/time fields anyway - the format is simply setting how you
would like to see them displayed.

Hi Barbara,

You may be able to work around the issue by using a custom field. For
example: if you insert one of the text fields (Text1) and then
customize the field using the following formula, it will display the
time portion of the Start date field:

format([Start],"hhmm")

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Barbara,

I assume you wish to only show the time portion of a date field.
Here's another formula that may work better than the last one I posted:

ProjDateConv([Start],pjDate_hh_mmAM)

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
