Hello Everyone!!

This is a U-D-W question. I have two resources assigned to a task (review
report) which takes 2 hours. Hence both the resources have to work two hours
each. I tried setting up several option like fixed units, fixed duration and
fixed work but in vain. I understand that its a fixed work task, but when I
set the task as fixed work (2 hours), the work is shared between the two
resourses as one hour each. Can somebody tell what's wrong I am procedure and
help me out?!! Thanks for all your help.

It is because this is not a 2 hour task. It is a 4 hour task with a 2
hour duration. If only one resource was assigned to do it it would be a
2 hour task. But since each resource needs to spend 2 hours it becomes
a 4 hour task.

Hello KT,
Insert the Work column besides the Duration column
Set Duration = 2h
Set Work = 4h
Set Task type = Fixed Work
Assign Resource1 (Units = 1)
Assign resource 2 (Units = 1)

Isn't it OK ?

Dont worry. It is likely the most commonly held misunderstandings in
all of Project-Land. :)
