G

Gerry

I've followed the prescribed directions from the
Microsoft web site, but I'm still unable to connect to my
Hotmail account via Outlook 2002.

Thank you.

I guess you are trying to connect to Hotmail by using the HTTP service and
selected Hotmail as the server?
The server should now say;
http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp

Note that it happens quite often that the connection gets lost when you are
trying to download large e-mails. Just try again later.

Hey Roady:

Ya, I've got that going. THat's the default on Outlook
for Hotmail. I haven't been able to log on to Hotmail for
well over two weeks and at my wits end, thought I could
try this.

Thanks.

Disable your firewall and see if it works then (turn it back on afterwards).
If so; reconfigure your firewall.

Otherwise try creating a new (do not copy) profile in Control Panel-> Mail->
Show Profiles
