Unable to Delete emails from sever

Hello

I am using MS Outlook 2003. the version of outlook i have is 11.5608.560

The settings that i have kept are

Leave the message on the server for 5 days. Outlook 2003 is unable to delete these emails after 5 days. (while 2002 did it perfectly on the same server) on and off it will start downloading all the emails again.

so basically, it downloads duplicate emails and fails to delete emails from the server.

Any Ideas

Anti-virus or Firewall product installed? Try turning off the mail checking
portion.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
