unable to launch outlook.

everytime i click on the office outlook icon on my
desktop i get an error message and it says "the operation
failed" does anyone have any suggestions on how to
resolve this?

Do the other Office Applications run without error? Have you tried Detect
and Repair? Did Outlook ever open on this computer?

And, for the $64,000 question... What version of Outlook?
