Unable to link to internet from within messages in Outlook

When I receive an email with a link to a website I can no longer click on the
link and access the site. Instead, I am directed to a folder on my hard
drive. I recently changed my browser BACK to IE from Mozilla. Can anyone
suggest how I can fix the email/weblink issue?
