Unable to Login to Exchange Server

I recently applied several Windows XP Update, patches and
SR's along with one or two Office XP Sr's and updates.
Everything worked fine except now I am not able to login
to the Mail Exchange Server using Outlook 2002.

So far, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Office XP. I've
deleted the TCP/IP connection and reinstalled it. I've
deleted all cookies but I am still unable to login to the
server.

The symptoms are; Outlook opens up, a user name and
password dialog displays, I enter the information and
immediately it reports that my user name or password is
invalid. It returns faster then expected for a round trip
to the server and back. The message pops up almost
instantaneously. I suspect that it never makes the trip
to the server and something on my client machine is
corrupted.

Any ideas on how to fix this short of reinstalling
everything?

Thanks,

Bob Gardner

Have you tried a new profile? Have you asked the Exchange admin to reset
your password? What do you have as the authentication method on the Advanced
tab of your Server properties?

We have tried new profiles with the same results. The
password is valid. The user id and password work with
other items that I have to connect to and the
administrator has changed the password onseveral
occasions.

The authentication method is set to "none".

We have deleted cookies, uninstalled the TCP/IP portion
of the network connection and reinstalled it, deleted the
Outlook Application folder's contents, and scanned the
registry, but it still finds the profile to load.
