Unable to open mpd

hi

I have just installed project 2003 onto a new system. I can save a project
as a project database but if i close it and try to re-open it I get "The file
could not be opened." Yet I can open the file on another PC.

I've tried re-installing, added service pack 2 but no joy. Any ideas?
