I had attempted to set up outlook to leave files on my ISP pop3 server for 14
days. After 4 - 5 weeks of successful use, I have been unable to send or
receive emails for the past 3 days. To debug, I set up a normal account on
my wife's PC and was able to successfully connect and download my messages.
Back on my PC,
I changed my config to not leave message on the server.
I removed the old outlook.pst file and email account. I then tried to
recreate my email account and test it. I am still unable to connect. When I
try to test the connection, I get...
Establish Network Connection - OK
Find outgoing mail server (SMTP) - OK
Find incoming mail server (POP3) - OK
Log on the incoming mail server - FAILED
Send Test Message - FAILED
I seem to have missed something somewhere. Any suggestions?
