Unable to reinstall Office 2000

We had Publish 2002 installed. It was in Prgram Files of
Office 2000/Office 10. Did not like it and could not get
it to show "font preview".
So, I unstalled this and try to install Disk 2 of Office
2000. It would not allow since another application was
already installed.
Then, I uninstalled Office 2000 thinking I could reinstall
it and Publisher 2000 would be in affect. But, it would
not allow me to install since it was an "upgrade" program
and it did not find any base program from which to build.
Do not have original Publisher disks except a real old
Version 1 on a 5.0 floppy. But, not 5.0 floppy access
naturally.
Please Help!
