uncooperative task collapsing & expanding

hi all,

i have a master project with 5 subs. ther're all using alot of custom
fields: dates & text...

one of the 5 sub-proj is being uncooperative when atempting to collaps &
expand.

it doesn't matter if i have each of the subs open & expanded or not at the
time.

any ideas? - tia
