Underlining Trailing Spaces

Does anyone now how to underline trailing spaces in a columnar heading? You can do this in Word. This would be where you type a columnar heading and space the length of the column and you want to continue to underline the heading. Thanks.

I've never seen it in PowerPoint. Could you do it in Word and paste it in?
