Undocking/Redocking laptop causes Outlook 2007 to stay disconnecte

When docking and undocking my laptop a few times, Outlook 2007 will not
connect to our corporate exhange 2003. It shows as disconnected and will no
connect. This sometimes lasts 5 minutes sometimes 3 hours. I have tried the
trick of going offline and back online to no avail. Restarting Outlook does
not help, neither does rebooting. Whatever the issue, Outlook just has to do
"something" in the background to reconnect. I have scoured the interent with
no success. Please help. This causes major loss of productivity almost
daily.

If rebooting doesn't fix it, it's probably not outlook - everything is
cleared on a reboot. How are you connecting- classic or RTP over HTTP?

I have a similar problem when I travel with a cellular connection but a
reboot always fixes it when a restart doesn't.

I am connection via our corporate lan either by wireless or physical ethernet
to our exchange server. It is possible that it is an Exchange server issue
but other people had similar issues and that didn't seem to be the case.
What you say does make sense, I just don't have any actual answers :) Thanks
for your reply!
