Uninstall Handheld Sync

I sync up between Entourage 2004 and my Palm Zire using Microsoft'
Handheld Sync utility, and it's been mostly working fine up unti
yesterday. At that point, it crashed mid-sync and lost all the dat
from the Palm. (No big deal, it's still in Entourage.) Now when I tr
to sync, it crashes every time.

I tried going into Conduit Settings for the Entourage sync, but ever
time I double-click on the Entourage sync settings, it crashes the Ho
Sync Manager. I have tried reinstalling both Handheld Sync and the Pal
Desktop Sync software, I have restarted, I have reset the data from th
Palm several times, all to no avail.

One thing I haven't done is to completely uninstall Handheld Sync. I a
convinced that the problem lies there. However, there is no uninstal
utility for this software. I am happy to manually throw all th
components in the trash, however I don't know ones need to go. An
suggestions

The conduit is at:

/Library/Application Support/Palm HotSync/Conduits/Microsoft Entourage
Conduit

I think that's the only thing you'll have to nuke.

Before you do that though, try deleting the file that holds the conduit's
state. In Entourage 2004 it is:

~/Documents/Palm/Users/<sync name>/Entourage Data/Entourage Storage

Then try editing the sync settings again, and syncing etc.

Cheers,

Chris
