Unintended Email Attempting to be Sent

Hello,
I am having a problem where an Email that I did not
create is attempting to be sent in my Outlook 2002. I do
not see the Email in my outbox, nor in the sent items if
I allow it to go out. I always keep my antivirus
software up to date. How do I find out what is sending
this message, and how do I get rid of a message that is
trying to be sent without allowing it to go out?
