I get a report from another company in a .mht format which I then open in
excel. One of the columns contain merged cells. I do know how to unmerge the
cells in order for me to do a sort. But is there a way to have excel
automically fill those unmerged cells with the repeated number. Example: all
of one tech numbers jobs for the day are in a merged field when I unmerge all
of his jobs but i do want his tech number all of his jobs . It will appear in
row 1 and then his total will appear in row 6 but i need his number to be in
all of the other rows as well. I then sort all jobs by tech number. Right now
I do the copy on each tech and it is very time consuming,.
