Unread email

I just transferred my outlook email to my new computer, and it shows ALL my
2600 -something emails as being unread... However, they were all read. Is
there a way to select them all and just select them as being 'read' instead
of physically having to open up every email???? I hope that makes sense. If

Outlook 2003, Edit, Mark all as Read.

Right click on inbox, mark all as read.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
