"Unread Mail" folder in Outlook 2003

When i originally installed office 2003, Outlook had an "Unread Mail" folder which i found very useful.
At one point i must have deleted it and have been unable to restore it no matter what i try. I have reinstalled and have no luck.

at the bottom of the mailbox folders is one called Search folders. Expand it
and if the unread folder is there, drag it up to the favorites list, if it's
gone, right click and choose New search folder and recreate it.
