update installation of office 2003

Office update suggests that I install 2 updates for Office 2003. I have
office 2000 professional installed on my PC and a trial version of Front Page
2003. My office 2000 products have previosly been fully updated. The
installation fails but I'm not sure why. do I need Office 2003 updates if I
have office 2000 Professional installed, and if so - can anyone advise me how
to get round the installation failure?

Your being offered the updates because of FrontPage 2003. It doesn't matter
if you had different versions of Office installed, you will be offered
updates for all your applications. Is there any error messahe for your
failures? What updates are you downloading?

A quick step is to try running Help -> Detect and Repair in case your
installation has become damaged.
