update SR-2 in office 97 did not install

I reformatted my harddrive and reinstalled Office 97 and then went into MS
website and downloaded SR-2 and installed it after it downloaded. However,
when I check on the version in any office program, it still says SR-1. What
did I do wrong?

Did you get any errors at all during the installation? Have you tried it
again?
