update

How can I update my Table of contents, Table of figures in
my active document. I want to run a macro where it updates
all fields including Table of contents and delete all the
comments which where in template for user.

Any suggestions

The macro code used as an example at
http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm will update all the fields.
Add the line

WordBasic.DeleteAllCommentsInDoc

to the beginning of the macro to delete all comments.

I am trying to do delete comment with this coding but itès
not working. I am in word 2000

It works in Word 2003, and I don't currently have Word 2000 to check. May I
suggest that you record the action of deleting all comments in a macro and
see what code Word 2000 uses for this action, then add the relevant part to
the original macro.
