Ricardo de Aguayo

Hi Dear,

Your help is really appreciated.

I built my Web about 3 years ago with FP 2002, almost did not touched
for long time; now I upgraded to FP 03 but very scare to download my Site
and ruin everything.

My Web: www.aguayogallery.com

I have an exhibition next month and need to make changes.
I received some orientation once, but couldn't make it.

I need a more basic, step by step description of the process of
downloading -as is- my Remote Site. (If I have to OPEN or Import it, etc).

To start working from there doing corrections & changes.

I appeal to your wisdom and kindness to help me on this matter.

Thank You!!

Ricardo

Hi Ricardo,

You should not have any problems as the FP server extension have not changed since FP 2002. Just open the site at the server with FP
3 and publish to your local web.

Hi Ricardo,
just do this;
fire up FrontPage 2003, hit file/ open site, browse to your online site and
when it opens hit file/ publish and then in the publish destination dialog
browse to where you want to keep it locally (I'd make a fresh folder for
this purpose first so you don't make a mess of an existing folder).

then when it publishes back to your local computer hit file/ close site,
then file/ open site and browse to your newly downloaded site. Now you can
work on the local copy and publish your changes.

De nada!
Show us a link to your gallery when you're done. I remember your pictures
were exceptional last time I looked.
